Film is one of my favourite ways to preserve the atmosphere of the day & remember not just how the day looked, but exactly as it felt.
There’s something about the warmth of vineyard light, the soft grain on the ornate estate details, and the way film holds movement that makes everything feel a little more lived-in and honest.
In Niagara, where the scenery already carries so much romance and texture, film just adds another layer of depth that makes your photos effortlessly timeless.
To honor this, all of my wedding photography packages now include at least one roll of film to documented your day in its truest form.
My photography approach is focused on capturing your day as it naturally unfolds.
The tears your friends quietly wipe away during the ceremony. Your grandmother holding your hand during family portraits. The few seconds you take to pause and feel all the feelings of the day. The little in between moments you may never expect, but will always cherish.
Those are the moments I want to document.
Whether you’re getting married at a small family owned winery or one of the region’s grand estates, my focus remains on real moments first.
Your wedding day deserves to feel natural, and authentic to the way it actually felt.
You can call me Vic, Victoria is what my mother calls me.

"Victoria was such a pleasure to work with! She captured our wedding day perfectly! She made two camera shy people feel so at ease and truly tells a story through her photography. We are so happy she was there to capture every moment!"
LOVE NOTES
Cave Spring Vineyard is one of those venues where everything you need is already there, without having to overthink it. The vineyard rows are right on site, which means you don’t have to leave your guests or build extra time into the day just to get those quiet, scenic portraits.
Cave Spring offers the use of golf carts to navigate the expanse of the venue quickly - and it's also a great photo op! The barn & the retreat center are also there to offer you different textures without it feeling disconnected.
This venue is a perfect space to stay present & enjoy the natural flow of the day. You’re not going to be constantly navigating logistics or trying to make the location work. It already does.
NOTL has this quiet, almost slow-moving feel to it that makes everything settle a bit. It’s one of those places where you don’t have to force anything, the setting does a lot of the work for you.
The streets are lined with historic buildings, soft neutral tones, and just enough texture to feel interesting without pulling focus. It’s easy to move from the waterfront to a garden path to a quiet street in a matter of minutes, which keeps the flow of the day feeling relaxed instead of rushed.
As a wedding photographer in Niagara, I find this area especially beautiful for couples who don’t want their photos to feel overly posed. There’s space to walk, to pause, to just exist together for a second without it feeling like a production.

Q.
What is the best time of year for a wedding in the Niagara region?
A.
Early fall is personally my favourite time of year because the vineyards are full, the weather is still warm, and the colours are stunning! Just keep in mind that the Grape & Wine festival takes place during early September which brings a lot of tourism to the region - plan accordingly! Late spring to early summer are also beautiful for those colourful garden party vibes, especially in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Q.
How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer?
A.
Wedding vendors in the region tend to book quickly, especially during popular winery weekends in the late summer and fall months. I always recommend booking your wedding photographer 8–12 months in advance if your wedding is at a sought-after vineyard.

Q.
How do you plan around weather for wedding photos in the Niagara region?
A.
Weather in Niagara can shift quickly, especially near the lake and in open vineyards. To ease any possible stress, I'll always help you to build a flexible portrait plan if we are expecting unfortunate weather conditions. Whether that means making slight adjustments to the timeline, utilizing covered winery spaces, or leaning into that misty vineyard weather with a cute birdcage umbrella. The goal is to document the true to the atmosphere of the day, and embrace those moments for future memories.

Q.
Can we include Niagara-on-the-Lake in our wedding portraits even if our venue is elsewhere?
A.
Absolutely! Niagara-on-the-Lake is a beautiful location for historic streets, gardens, or lakeside views even if your venue is elsewhere in the region. Just keep in mind the travel time to and from your venue to ensure it doesn't impact other important parts of the day. A great alternative is planning your engagement photos in and around NOTL to allow for breathing room (and less travel) on your wedding day.
