My Advice for this Wedding Venue:
Consider your heat tolerance vs. the month you plan to get married. This venue is still a traditional greenhouse and does get warm in the summer months. If you or your guests do not do well in hot temperatures, it may be better to aim for Spring or Autumn months at Madison Greenhouse.
Do your portraits earlier rather than later. Again, this is slightly related to the heat, but if you are worried about your makeup running, sweat marks on clothes or your hair getting a little frizzy from the humidity I would recommend doing your portraits earlier in the day if you can.
Make afterparty plans if you are big partiers. This venue is nestled within a residential community in Newmarket and unfortunately does have an earlier cut off time for noise. If you and your people really love to party late into the night, I would suggest planning an afterparty close by to keep the vibes going!

One of the biggest concerns that arise when it comes to planning your wedding (and booking a venue) is “what if it rains?” While I am all for going with the flow and embracing the weather on your wedding day (I secretly would love to capture a wedding in the pouring rain), this is not the case for most. One of the best features Madison Greenhouse has to offer is the option for both indoor & outdoor ceremony locations so the weather doesn’t affect your day – let’s dive into both!
The Ivy Chapel - A truly magical indoor space that makes you feel like you’re outside under a canopy of ivy. The large space is completely lit up by natural light streaming through the greenhouse ceiling, making it ideal for photos. The chapel itself is so lush that minimal decor is needed.
The Courtyard - If being surrounded by grand trees, lush gardens & cobblestone paths is more your vibe, then the outdoor courtyard may be for you. This space may also be more ideal during the summer months as it can get a bit warm within the greenhouse during the afternoon.

From getting ready to partying on the dance floor, Madison Greenhouse offers everything to you & your guests need under one roof.
Getting Ready - There are two bridal suites available within the space, so you can complete all those final touches & even have a place to sneak off to for a mid-party break – I know we’ve all been there!
Cocktail Hour - The Terrace is the perfect spot for your guests to mingle and sip cocktails at intimate garden bistro tables. The space is partially covered to protect from the weather, while also being directly connected to the Courtyard for a quick stroll through the gardens.
Reception - The Fig Room is arguably my most favourite space in the entire venue and I think I will let the picture below speak for itself. This room is often used as the reception space since there is ample room for a dance floor, and the acoustics work great for both speeches and party music.

A: Up to 260 guests can comfortably be accommodated at Madison Greenhouse.
Q: Is Madison Greenhouse wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes! The entire venue is on one level and is completely wheelchair accessible from front to back. There is also plenty of on site parking.
Q: Does the greenhouse have air conditioning?
A:Unfortunately because the venue is full of tropical plants & foliage that would not survive cooler conditions, there is no air conditioning within the greenhouse. The venue is equipped with ceiling fans to help circulate air and has plenty of shaded areas for spending time outside during the warmer months.
Q: Do they host multiple events at once?
A: No, this entire venue is exclusively yours for the day when you book it! No need to compete for space alongside other events!
